To be eligible to be certified by the board as an ENGINEER INTERN an applicant must first first pass the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.

Land Surveyor Intern (LSI) Certification
To be eligible to be certified by the board as a LAND SURVEYOR INTERN an applicant must first pass the NCEES Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) exam.

Complete an online application – the application fee is $50.00.
Engineering and Land Surveying Interns that anticipate applying for licensure, are encouraged to start an NCEES Record as early as possible. An NCEES Record can be created for no cost and is accepted by all state licensing boards. Nevada, and many other state boards, use the NCEES Record as an application for licensure.
