As Nevada returns to normal work conditions, our Reno office will continue to offer in-person services during normal business hours Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, excluding holidays. The Las Vegas satellite office remains closed.

We will continue to follow all required guidelines, and we may revise our office and meeting policies as guidelines change.

Our Purpose and Mission

The purpose of the board, as stated in the Nevada Revised Statute 625.005, is to safeguard life, health and property and to promote the public welfare by providing for the licensure of qualified and competent professional engineers and professional land surveyors.
The Board’s mission is to uphold the value of professional engineering and land surveying licensure by assessing minimum competency for initial entry into the profession, and to ensure ongoing standard of professionalism by facilitating compliance with laws, regulations, and code of practice; and to provide understanding and progression in licensure by openly engaging with all stakeholders.
