On August 25, 2017, Nevada and Wyoming signed a Memorandum of Understanding to expedite mobility for applicants seeking a license by comity/endorsement. An applicant seeking a license by comity/endorsement can apply to either state and request to be licensed in both states. The applicant will pay each state its respective licensing fees and take the required open book exam on each state’s laws and rules, but will save time by completing a single application. This will substantially shorten the licensing process. It is our hope that this first step will encourage other states to join and make comity/endorsement licensing a simpler speedier process.
